That Dalmatian…

Okay so I see this Dalmatian on my way to work. That is one beeaauutiful dog. I can only imagine how expensive they must have bought that dog because Dalmatians aren’t available in my country. The house is double storey and that Dalmatian has a dog house on the second storey and each day he is standing there looking here and there and that’s how I see it every day. I don’t know but Dalmatians has some kind of attraction to them, maybe because of their unique coat pattern or I dunno… Anyway, I’m always happy to see that Dalmatian every day and a little bit down if it is not standing there.

I don’t know since when I started loving dogs so much but I love them a lot now. Oh, how I crave to have a puppy right now and watching that Dalmatian everyday renews my passion every day. I don’t have a dog yet but I’ve learned all the dog training, that’s how much I love dogs. I know I can just buy it but I don’t have that much money to go spend on a dog. Maybe in a year or two I’ll save enough. I’ve had offers to take some Russian Hound puppies but I just cannot think of anything other than a German shepherd puppy or a Labrador puppy.

So that was the story of a Dalmatian I love :)

CUTTING MY OWN HAIR

I have had long hair all my life and all my life there remained the problem of having a haircut that will turn out good. I went from one dresser to the other and I couldn’t really explain them what kind of haircut I want and even if I do tell them, some are too nice not to even listen to me.

The worst part was that they always cut my hair too short or not-just-the-way-I-want that will leave me finding ways to cover my bad haircut up, thinking about the waste of the money and my-hair-were-better-off-without-a-cut etc. I even got a weird nickname which is still stuck to me after all these years because of a bad hair cut even though that bad haircut grew normal after some months. So when I became a computer freak, I found YouTube like many other websites, a very useful thing. I started learning so much from YouTube and browsing brought me to videos on cutting your own hair and that was when my good days started.

People are so conscious when it comes to their hair that they are dependent on professionals for fixing their hair and trust no one else, not even themselves. I guess it’s normal as 99% people are like this but I tell you with my own and perfectly-positive experience that cutting your own hair is not difficult at all. It’s totally fine if you are satisfied with your hair dresser and have enough money to throw away to some bunch of professionals who just work their scissors in no-special-a-skill that you can’t do yourself.

I never thought that there would be a way out of my misery of not getting a haircut of my satisfaction but learning it from YouTube; I’m a pro of my own now. People are too scared to take a risk with their precious hair but think about it, even if you cut your hair wrong, it’s not like it will remain the same forever. It will grow before you are over your grief and trust me, if you cut your hair with the skilled steps, you will never go wrong. And also, you don’t have to cut the hair in a strict line or a shape that a wrong turn will mess it up. And it’s not only me who have found a way to cutting my own hair because most of the vids I watched told the same thing and that gave me even more confidence that I’m not the only one with this weird problem out there.

I will not start giving instructions on cutting your own hair but I would mention some main things. The first one being, it was not any ‘one’ video that I watched and I was good to go, I watched like six or seven vids and comparing all the tips in my mind, applied my gathered knowledge to my hair. The second, most obvious thing is to cut hair slowly and not just in one go. In the beginning, I even cut a little hair, let it dry to see the results and then start again and took me hours for just trimming the bangs but now I can do it in just five minutes. The main tip for trimming or cutting your full length hair is to bring the hair in front in parts and scissor it in just the opposite way what you know is done when your hair is back. Seems pretty easy once you think about it!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the YouTube people because of whom I’m able to cut my hair today with confidence and also to a cousin of mine who once cut my hair and messed it big time. I was pretty furious at her for ruining my hair but she gave me the inspiration that if she can ‘experiment’ with my hair, I can too. That’s another story how I got into her hands, being forced by my mom and being too nice to not refuse, which is not relevant now but I’m happy it happened because that incident compelled me to search videos on cutting my own hair.

All thanks to YouTube, now I can cut my hair as I want and as much I want. Other people, including my sister, may not trust me but I’m totally comfortable with cutting my own hair and I have also started to like cutting other people’s hair as I know now that’s it’s not difficult at all and requires no special skill that the hair dressers think they have the monopoly on. I have cut hair of some of my cousins and it was a success.

I got my bangs cut first of all by a professional and she messed up my hair like anything. I was doomed but I learned how to cut bangs myself and now I have perfect bangs (so I think!). After I mastered how to cut my hair from the front I went to videos explaining how to trim and layer hair yourself and I feel proud to tell that my hair are in layers which I cut myself and I can refresh my cut or trim my hair anytime I want not waiting to save the money and then going to some stupid hair dresser. And there is no such happiness as the sense of achievement you get after cutting your own hair and to know that you have saved a lot of money!

I've Got It

This post is about a drawing i made on Paint and I'm posting it because it was the first and the last time i made something that was even slightly good on Paint though I'm pretty good at drawing with a pencil but i suck at drawing and sketching on Paint.

I made this drawing for a friend some two years back and there was a logic behind why i made this which is not relevant to put here. Well, i think its pretty good. :D

My Room, My Fortress of Solitude

My room is where I spend most of my day… and most of my year for that matter. I’ve seen people who find it a hell to stay at home even for summer vacations or a few holidays but not me, aan..aan.. I find it a blessing to stay at home. I think one of the reasons for my loving to stay at home is that I’m a big introvert but I’ve seen even introverts like me lamenting if they have to stay home. Why is that? May be I know. It’s because their home life is so fucked up. Ouch, that’s gonna hurt!

Loads o’ thanks to God, I have a very peaceful and loving family which has made me love my home better than hanging out all the time. Immature people are the ones who think “friends are our life”. Hello people, grow up! No one, I say, no one in this world can be more sincere to you than your family, no matter how cruel you think they are to you. I cannot say that for sure about lovers and life partners as I prefer to stay out of outside relationships but I’m pretty sure even those are weak relations.

Okay, so I got a little out of track. Coming back to my room. Hmmm, as I was saying, my room is where I spend most of my day and ‘loves’ to spend most of my day. It has everything I need and want. My best possessions are here in my room, my bed, my personal computer, MY BOOKS and my stuff toys. Though I share the room with my sister but I keep to my side, which is way much cleaner and organized then her side. I clean it and decorate it to my taste.

I’m proud of my book collection. I’ve like a mini library here in my room which fills me with happiness just looking at it. I love my PC, it is half of my world, my day feels incomplete if I don’t switch on my PC at least once because normally it remains switched on almost all day J

My room is my fortress of solitude. It keeps me away from the cruel world outside. Call me a psycho path but this is the truth. I find peace and solidarity when I’m in my room. I have my privacy there and no one disturbs me there. I do more productive work just sitting in my room then most people do all day lurking out.

After putting up with everything of this shit world, my room is where I can come back to my own, peaceful world. It is a fortress where I can come and stay, finding it blessed and once I’m in my room, I cannot care less where the world is going!

Jeff Dunham

Once i happened to write on Jeff Dunham as my work assignment and writing on him made me check out his work and the next thing, i was among his fans too.

Jeff Dunham is a ventriloquist and an amazing one, he is. I have watched almost every video of his I could find on Youtube. I'm pasting some links to my favorite Jeff Dunham videos. You should check others becasue there are a lot of them. He is real witty and not one moment of his shows are boring. He is the greatest ventriloquists of all times. You will never see his lips moving when he is speaking puppets. His every move with the puppets is flawless and spontaneous and fast. He usually picks up one funny thing and repeats it with other dialogues and it is laughable every time.

My favorite Jeff Dunham characters are Peanuts, Jose Jalapeno on a stick and Achmed the Dead Terrorist. Though Achmed the Dead Terrorist is racist and rude of Dunham but i like it all the same. About Peanut, he is like the most funny puppet in the world. He talks insults and rude but all that is so funny that it never feels negative.I love the way he laughs with his head thrown back and how he looks at Dunham when he has said something bad. And how on David Letterman Show he tells how giraffes puke and how the dentist asks question while they have instruments in the mouth. It happens seriously because Ive been going to my dentist for many years and it happened quite a number of times.

In the link below, there is a conversation between Peanut and Jose Jalapeno on a stick and this guy spoke for both his characters in super speed. That is just amazing. And i love how Peanut teases Jose so much.

About Achmed the Dead Terrorist, "Silence, I Kill You", "I'm Lindsay Lohan", "I Kill You Till You're Dead" and every dialogue anyway is hilarious. Melvin the Superhero is also funny.

Well, that's quite it but once you get the jokes, Dunham's performances becomes irresistible. I've watched many of his videos over and over and though there wont be his DVDs available here but i would love to have all of em. HAPPY WATCHING!

Rude Yet Hilarious

Okhay, i know making fun of God's creation is a really really bad thing and i really really like Katrina but i just couldn't help editing and laughing at the photos.

I used katrina's photo just because it was lying there in my computer for some purpose and no other celebrity's photo so it is completely unbiased. The first one is the original, from next on........ eeee :P !!! Well, Enjoy!

and that's the final straw :D

FLOOD IN PAKISTAN

It was not long before the terrible and disastrous earthquake which hit Pakistan in 2005 that a flood came in the country which was even more destructive then the earthquake as the earthquake effected the areas of only one province i.e. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,  but this recent flood affected the areas of all the four provinces in Pakistan equally. The flood which hit Pakistan in 2010 not only left much disaster but also left undeletable marks on the minds of the affected people.

The flood started as a result of heavy rainfall in all the four provinces of Pakistan. Hundreds and millions of people are left without any homes or shelter and are dying of the lack of basic facilities. According to an estimate, more than 2000 people have died in the flood and a million are deprived of their homes. It is also estimated that the destruction caused by this flood is more than the 2005 earthquake, 2004 Tsunami and 2010 Haiti earthquake, leaving behind these disasters which were considered to be big before that.
Because of the destruction on such a vast scale, aid came not only from the fellow countrymen but also from other countries. But even such a mighty aid is as yet unable to make things better because of the faulty and dishonest leaders of Pakistan. Pakistan’s image in front of the whole world was shattered once again when the international channels started broadcasting that the funds for the flood relief are used very sluggishly by the Pakistani government and is much disorganized. Most of the aid provided internally as well as by the other countries, organizations and UN are being utilized dishonestly and there is disorganization. The president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari was accused of his absence in the country when the flood hit.

Hundreds and millions worth of dollars has been provided as flood relief but despite all these funds, the destruction is still on a wide scale and minimal improvement is made. There is a lack of supply of clean water to the flood affectees which is probably the biggest dilemma as unclean water is the root cause of quickly spreading diseases in the flood affected regions. The flood affected people are not provided with even the basic medical facilities or food which in turn makes the hunger stricken people to commit riots to get their hands on the food.

The little help which has been given in this regard is mainly because of the effectiveness of Pakistan army and the international delegations of volunteers who themselves came to the country to aid. The need of the time is that more and more relief is given to the affected people and proper disbursements of the aid should be made effective. The whole world community should join hands in these trying times for Pakistan, thinking only the sufferings of the affected people and do what everyone can in their capacity to make things better for them.
