Crispy Choco Bites

I am always searching for recipes which are new, within my budget and easy to make so you may get an idea how problematic that would be to find such recipe. So i came across this recipe on BBC Food and decided i will make it. It is a dessert and is called CRISPY CHOCOLATE BITES.

A somewhat difficult thing to make it was to find some muffin trays. But i managed to get my hands on muffin trays from a local bakery free of cost. It was a funny thing to explain to the counter guys what i wanted as they had probably some other name for it but then the manger interrupted and he understood what i want and maybe that's why i got them free of cost. This was a dessert which required refrigeration and that was also a good point. Though i love baking but i have a very outdated oven which is a big hurdle in my baking passion. Anyways, written below is the recipe as i noted from the channel and made it.

In a bowl, mix two or three Mars chocolate bars, breaking them to pieces, two sticks of a small sized butter, 2 1/2 cup corn flakes. Put the mixture in mini muffin trays according to the size of the tray. Refrigerate them for 20 minutes and VOILA, it is ready to eat.

Its that simple! The thing made would taste like any chocolate but crispy because of the corn flakes and smoother because of the butter. My siblings liked it, so that meant that it is approved. As a tip, muffin trays are not very important as they are just to give the hold otherwise it can simply be put on some plate or tray and that will do. Pretty kiddo recipe but still, it was worth it!

Stay tuned for my next tested recipe!
